My unique practice integrates complementary methods including; Gestalt Psychotherapy, Transpersonal Art Therapy, counselling, and meditation. My goal is to empower individuals with tools for ongoing self-support. I work with my clients to facilitate personal development, awareness, and growth. I was inspired to study and work in psychology in response to how our current culture relates to mental health and healing. I am dedicated to creating change in this field. I feel honored to be sharing this rich wisdom in a practical, easily accessible way. My experience is both targeted and diverse. In addition to my private practice and support work, I am currently the resident Art Therapist at Guthrie House. I have developed therapeutic groups for the Indigo project, Catholic Care, Ability Links, Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, The Illawarra Women’s Health Centre, Anglicare, Links to Learning, Red Tent, Bupa Aged Care (Dance Therapy), and Dance for Parkinson’s Australia. My practice also extends to professional development programs for therapists looking to develop or integrate new relational or experiential methods into their practice including; Gestalt group work, experimentation, art, meditation, psychodrama, dreamwork, movement, and focusing. I have worked with clients with a wide range of challenges including; depression, anxiety, autism, physical injury or disability, suicidal thoughts, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorders, creative blockages, OCD, and addiction. I also have the capacity to work with individuals using their NDIS plan which is fully covered.
