Our next workshop is the popular linoprint with artist . This fully guided class will take you through the process of creating a drawing and turning it into a fine art print. You will learn how to use our etching press and how to make a linoprint plate using carving tools. This technique is for all levels of experience and is 12+ ages. This small inclusive class is perfect for beginners too. All materials supplied and held in Bellingen in our cosy art studio at The Stables. Our next workshop is part of our new eco printing series. Using materials and learning methods that are more environmentally and economically friendly. LANDMARKS is a landscape inspired etching workshop using tetrapak plates and high quality water based inks. We will guide you through this innovative etching technique and show you the various mark making and print approaches that make this technique dynamic and expressive. We will get a chance to make a suite of prints that can be experimental, intentional or a combination that expresses your relation to the local landscape. Held in Bellingen at the Stables with some time drawing down by the river to gather imagery. All materials supplied in this small inclusive class. No experience necessary. We ran a little private Lino print workshop today for a mother and her daughters as they were all in town together. They created some great work especially as they hadn’t done printing before! A lovely slow session talking about family and art, well done everyone. 🎨

Our next Printmaking workshop is Botanical Linoprinting. This print technique is great for beginners and also more experienced artists. Artist Marc Renshaw will guide you through the whole process from your drawings and ideas to printing a small suite of prints ready to frame. We will have a botanical inspiration theme but you can choose to do anything you like! We supply all the materials and guidance and the class size is kept small. Come along to this FREE Festival Decor Making Workshop and make art with us to decorate the amazing festival! All levels of ability and experience are welcome and it’s 12+ age. You will work with 2 professional artists to bring lots of creative ideas to life that will then be used at the festival to make it look superb! Bring your own ideas and skills to contribute and be part of a cool festival crew. Held at Nambucca Valley Phoenix in Bowraville on Thursday 29th January 9-3pm or pop in for a few hours if that suits you. We have a great river/aquatic theme and lots of materials. You will learn new skills and get to be part of this exciting festival. Class is fully inclusive. We start the year off with our popular Colour Linoprint Workshop.
