From where we’d rather be this Thursday…

Throwing it back to when we worked with Ashley Cooper on ABOVE the Mediterranean inspired Rooftop Bar at Ovolo in Fortitude Valley.

Farrago delivered a range of custom joinery across the space including the main bar, DJ booth, waiter station, planters and decorative screens, helping bring that relaxed rooftop vibe to life.

Dreaming of cocktails by the pool, anyone else?

We had the pleasure of working alongside Evans Built and McLellan & Bush Architects to supply and install the joinery for The Lakes College’s new Performing Arts Precinct and Strength & Conditioning Gym.

The new precinct is an incredible space designed to inspire creativity and support students across the arts and performance programs.

The College’s Director of Performing Arts shared:

“Our new Performing Arts Precinct is more than just a building, it’s a space where creativity will thrive, confidence will grow, and every student will have the opportunity to find their voice. We are incredibly excited to open the doors and see our community come to life through the arts.”

Farrago is on the hunt for another legend to join the team full time in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

If you’re the kind of person who gets way too excited about clean joins, perfectly flush panels, and the smell of fresh-cut timber… you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

We need someone with experience making bespoke joinery and furniture who takes pride in their work and enjoys building quality pieces.

You’ll be working on a mix of custom joinery and unique projects, alongside a solid crew who appreciate good craftsmanship, a bit of banter, and getting the job done properly.

You’ll probably fit right in if you:
• Have experience with bespoke joinery or furniture making
• Take pride in the details
• Know your way around a workshop
• Can have a laugh while still producing top-notch work

Location: Caloundra, Sunshine Coast

Say hello to Rod, one of our powerhouse Project Managers.

Born in New Zealand, raised on the Sunshine Coast 🌊
Rodney attended Mooloolaba Primary and graduated from Immanuel Lutheran College before spending 10 years in Brisbane studying a Diploma in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Applied Science Construction Management at QUT where he graduated with first class honours.

After 2.5 years travelling and working across Europe, the UK, Thailand & India (including a stint as a Contiki tour driver 🚍), Rodney returned to the Coast and built a career across a wide range of commercial projects with some HUGE names in the industry including BADGE Constructions Qld and has now proudly been apart of the Farrago team since April 2025.

We signed off early for Christmas Party celebrations 🎄🎉🏌️‍♂️

The Farrago team swapped tools for golf clubs this afternoon for a few rounds and are finishing the night at Northern Grounds for dinner. Even better celebrating in a cracking venue we helped bring to life with our joinery package.

It has been a huge year with big projects, a growing team and plenty of laughs along the way. The crew have definitely earned a few beers and a good night out together. Cheers to that. 🍻

📣 Christmas Closure
Our factory will be closed from 19 December 25 to 12 January 26 while the team recharges for another big year ahead.

Project Completion | Hatched Chicken

Hatched Chicken has officially opened in Bokarina and we’re stoked to have delivered the full Get F’d package for this brand new venue.

Our team managed construction, fitout, joinery and coordination of all supporting trades, including painting, tiling, glazing, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic services. We also manufactured and installed all custom joinery and furniture in-house to bring the Hatched vision to life.

Big thanks to the Hatched crew for trusting us with such an exciting project, and to the trades and suppliers who worked alongside us to make it happen. It’s always a win to help shape another great venue on the Sunshine Coast. 👏
