Our intrepid security students copped an earful on Friday from a difficult individual who refused to be moved along.

To be fair ….. all he wanted to do was finish his ciggie and his fifth bottle of Passion Pop, inside the shopping centre food court. His tantrum was totally justified.

Well done to our impressive students who did not get flustered and through good communication managed the situation in an efficient and professional manner 👌

One of our most loved scenarios yesterday ..... a very controversial author arrived at Strike Training and Consulting yesterday .... luckily we had top security available and he made it in safely.

An informative de-brief after discussing where elements were conducted very well and also where improvements could be made. Well done to all!

A full and bustling night for Jaye last night at a Perth concert, made even greater by bumping into some more ex-Strike students. These guys are kicking goals and advancing in their security careers!

Obviously each student’s success is the direct result of their hardwork, tenacity and ambition, but it is so rewarding to know that the security training they received has had a positive and long term effect.

We look forward to seeing you all out there! Get amongst it!

They’ve finally arrived!

Today Jaye and Irshad tried out our new CPR manikins which add to our first aid equipment and better reflect our community.

First aid knowledge is essential for security guards. They are often the first responders to accidents or medical emergencies that may occur during work shifts.

However further than being an asset only at work, being able to respond quickly and effectively to any medical incident is vital knowledge for us all to use both in and outside of the workplace.

Our senior trainer Stu had the pleasure of working with our ex-student on Saturday night.

Stu reported it was fantastic to witness him not only be employed in an excellent position … but demonstrating the professionalism, security expertise and class as he did.

Good looks only get you so far! The rest is the result of hard work and effort and is well deserved.

Jedi is a Veteran service dog and assists his owner to manage symptoms.

These roles are casual only and majority of the shifts are during the day on Saturdays so you can work other venues that night.

About the role

We are looking for team players who work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will have a passion for outstanding customer service.
1 Maintaining and monitoring operational environment.
2 Monitoring level of intoxication.
3 Access control
4 Entry Points, checking IDs & bag searches
5 Response to incidents

To be successful in these roles you will need to have:
1 WA Crowd Controller licence
2 Current First Aid Certificate
3 RSA certificate
4 Availability to work Saturday day shifts

We also offer training so you can move up to the higher levels.

Women in crowd control or guard roles are a valuable asset to security companies.

Sometimes women can bring extra skills and unique abilities to roles within security.

Power and strength in security are important however so is the attentiveness, great communication and problem solving females can bring to situations.

The security scene is fast paced and always changing. It is a dynamic industry with varied roles and the numbers of women within it are quickly increasing, thereby enhancing the sector.

We are so excited for the future of our female students and can’t wait to hear where their security careers take them.
