On World Cancer Day, we honour those we’ve lost, stand alongside those living with cancer, and continue to raise awareness for better prevention, care and treatment.
This afternoon, staff at Benalla Health came together over an afternoon tea to mark World Cancer Day and reflect on this year’s theme, United by Unique.
Every cancer journey is different. World Cancer Day reminds us that behind every diagnosis is a person, and that it will take all of us, united, to create a future where care goes beyond the disease.
Together, we share the ambition to reduce the cancer burden, strengthen connections between healthcare providers, patients and communities, and ensure people affected by cancer can live longer, better lives.
