The Benalla & District Football League Celebration Round was something pretty special over the weekend.

On the 18th of April, upstairs in the Glasshouse at the Benalla Showgrounds, it was a chance to come together and recognise the history of a league that meant so much to so many local communities.

From stories being shared to familiar faces reconnecting, there was a real sense of pride in the room. The Benalla & District Football League spanned decades of grassroots footy, and you could feel just how much it still means to people today.

A massive shoutout to Donny Robertson and all of the volunteers who helped along with the one and only Mick Stilo for pulling together such an incredible (and much-needed) event for shining a light on Benalla’s sporting Culture — it was absolutely fantastic to have everyone together.

One of those functions that reminded everyone what local sport is really about — community, connection, and a whole lot of good memories.

A huge shout out to Alan and the amazing team at Harry Browns Benalla 👏🔥
Without hesitation, Alan jumped on board to support our CFA Fundraiser for the 7th of March.

Every time we walk into the store, Alan and his staff are so helpful when we have any questions about the stock. They have such an awesome wide range of options, making it easy to find exactly what you need (and usually a few extra things you didn’t know you needed!).
