Lately, we’ve noticed an increase in online comments running down not only My Village Carers, but other local providers as well.
We work in an industry where this can unfortunately happen; often by former participants, former employees, or even other providers.
As a team, we give this work our all. Are we perfect? No organisation is. But we do go above and beyond to ensure participants are matched with the right supports, including both Support Workers and Support Coordinators, even when that takes time.
If by chance you feel your Support Workers or Support Coordinator aren’t the right fit, we encourage you to speak up and reach out. A good match matters. Sometimes it’s simply about compatibility or changing needs, and that’s okay. We have a broader team and will always try to explore other options.
Our team including our director Briahna, is always available to listen, take concerns on board, and work through them respectfully.
Online comments are often shared without full context and sometimes without accuracy. At My Village Carers, we remain open to respectful conversation. We can’t fix everything, but we will always listen and do our best to assist.
As providers in Bendigo, we are stronger when we support one another, work collaboratively, and keep the focus where it belongs — on the people we support.
