If you, your kids or someone you care about is having a tough time, there is support available right here in our community. Reaching out doesn’t have to be a big dramatic step sometimes it’s just a phone call and a conversation.
If you’re in Maryborough, the Maryborough Community Mental Health Service is located at 75–87 Clarendon Street. You can call 03 5461 0400, or access support anytime through the Mental Health Regional Triage Service on 1300 363 788 (24 hours a day for emergencies and new referrals).
Step Thru Care provides support for people experiencing low to severe mental health challenges, as well as alcohol and other drug concerns. You can contact the intake team on 03 5338 4500 or via stepthrucareintake@bchc.org.au.
Our local schools have wellbeing coordinators that can direct students to resources and help like:
