Bendigo Hearing Clinic is locally owned and operated and unlike many hearing aid clinics is not commercially linked to any manufacturer nor are clinic staff paid any form of commission. This is important because it means you receive independent advice on what hearing aid option will best meet your lifestyle needs.

"World Hearing Day also marks the start of Hearing Awareness Week in Australia. And this World Hearing Day, the World Health Organisation (WHO) focuses on the importance of safe listening as a means of maintaining good hearing during the course of your life, not matter your age. The theme this year - “To hear for life, listen with care” brings to the forefront the importance and means of hearing loss prevention through safe listening, with the following key messages:

1. It is possible to have good hearing from very young to senior years through frequent ear and hearing care
2. Many common causes of hearing loss can be prevented, including hearing loss caused by exposure to loud sounds
3. ‘Safe listening’ can mitigate the risk of hearing loss associated with recreational sound exposure.
Most people have an annual eye check up, but what about your ears? When was the last time you benchmarked how well you really hear?
