International Women’s Day has had me reflecting. Everyday I am grateful for my village, and in most part my village is made up of wonderful women.
The older I get, the fussier I am with who I surround myself with. Now days I surround myself with people I admire, respect, love and people whose company I enjoy. The people in my life allow me to be vulnerable and to be authentic. Not only do they accept who I am, they celebrate who I am.
The world has a long way to go, in its view and treatment of women. I hope that one day soon all of human kind will see women in the same way that I see the women in my life. With love, respect and a desire for everyone to feel seen and valued.
