We are delighted to announce that Dr Dilshad Dooremeah, General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, will be joining our practice in February 2024.
Dil is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Member of General Surgeons Australia.
He is a General and Laparoscopic Surgeon who completed his surgical training via the Western Health Hub in Melbourne after graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2011 ( Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery /Bachelor of Medical Science).
Dil gained unique insight and experience after working in Melbourne, Perth, Launceston, regional Western Australia and Victoria over the last 10 years.
He came back to Bendigo Health in 2023 to complete a General Surgery Fellowship to hone his skills in his subspecialty interests of Acute Care Surgery, Interventional Endoscopy, Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery, Hernias,Thyroid and Breast conditions.
Dil is committed to treating his patients with respect and compassion, and providing them with high-quality evidence-based surgical care. He has been involved in primary surgical research over the last decade and also believes in empowering and teaching the next generation of students and residents.
In his spare time, Dil enjoys exploring Bendigo and its surroundings with his young family.
