Now welcoming new artists at DONUT Studios! 🤩🤩

DONUT Studios is a supported studio, based in Golden Square and we are more than a day program! We work with small ratios (1:1 and 1:2) to ensure artists receive the time, care, and creative support they deserve.

Our focus is on meaningful creative practice and supporting artists to build confidence and skills in which ever medium they choose and support them to find opportunities within the contemporary art world.

Open Monday–Friday, 9am–3pm.

Part of the support we provide our artists includes helping them with cataloging, documenting and displaying their work. Each year the studio grows, the more opportunities for growth we provide to our members to help establish them as professional artists.

Check out Michelle's latest pieces! These were completed over the Christmas break and are off at the framers! If you'd like to purchase, please reach out, they will make a wonderful addition to any animal lovers art collection!

A reminder, if you'd like to view Michelle's work in person, she has a number of pieces on display for the next few months at . Pictures really don't do Michelle's technique and dedication to detail justice!

YOUNG ARTISTS CLUB starts in just 3 weeks!

This program is designed specifically to be gentle, low-pressure and all about giving kids the freedom to be themselves while exploring their big ideas through art.

This is an 8-week after-school art program designed especially for neurodivergent kids and kids with disabilities, we already have a great group of kids signed up and have a few final places left! While we're ready to support those with additional support needs, we are open to all abilities so if there are siblings that want to attend together, we can definitely accommodate!

We have a great little group of young artists joining our kids program in February!

4 places remain, if your young artist is looking for an art space that is free from rules about how to make art and instead embraces independent thinking and big ideas then DONUT Studios is the place!

Our Creative Facilitators Tara and Colleen are looking forward to supporting the next gen of artists to get creative and explore in their own way.

DONUT Studios has made the decision to close services on Friday 9th January due to the catastrophic fire danger warning issued for our area.

Our priority is always to keep our members safe as possible and we feel it is best if everyone stays safe and cool at home.

We hope everyone takes care and precaution over the next couple of days.

DONUT Studios is a supported art studio for neurodivergent artists and artists with disabilities, based in Golden Square.

We work at small ratios (1:1 and 1:2) so artists are genuinely supported to explore their creative practice in a way that feels meaningful.

We are more than a day program. DONUT Studios is a working studio that values the cultural importance of the art made here. We support artists to develop skills, confidence, and pathways toward artistic recognition within the broader contemporary art space.

The studio runs Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm, and we currently have capacity for new artists to join us.

If you are looking for a creative space that centres artists, community, and professional practice, we're just the place for you!
