Tribute to Tom Bowen on his birthday. Tom developed this gentle and effective soft tissue therapy last century, and it has since become known around the world as Bowen Therapy. It helps so many people and animals with pain and suffering in the most remarkably effective way. Tom hailed from Geelong and truly left his legacy as to this day I hear random reports of his selfless drive to help others 🫶🙌

It’s so lovely to hear the peace and quiet of a baby sleeping blissfully in the arms of her mother after 9 weeks of crying and writhing from reflux or colic or whatever causes these wee ones so much distress. The rhythmic breathing and colour of the face normalises and the beautiful mum feels temporary relief, until …

It’s time to go, it’d be awkward to stay longer, or I have another client coming in. They go to stand up, fearing the worst, apprehensive that bub will wake when they are put in the car seat and they scream all the way home like normal.

I cross my fingers and hope this baby is like the majority that improve significantly after their first Bowen treatment, and hope the lovely young mum will accept a free treatment in a few days to settle her jangling nervous system.
