This October, I will have a jar of pink rubber ducks travelling with me to my clinics. Each duck is available in exchange for a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
For you, a family member, or a friend .... Join me in giving a rubber duck for breast cancer!

Pink rubber duckies will be travelling with me to my podiatry clinics, and are available for a donation. They also squeak! (much to Aska's disgust)

Is your gut instinct saying someone might not be doing so well? Perhaps they're just not themselves and you've noticed a change in what they're saying or doing?

You've got what it takes to ask, 'are you OK?' and make a difference. Either in person, over the phone, by text, or snail mail. It doesn't have to be big, just genuine.

If it wasn't for a couple of amazing friends who asked, "RU ok?" and then listened, I would not be here today. ❤️‍🩹

Involuted toenails can be deeper than you think. 😱 Which is why we sometimes have to "wedge" the corners. (Nail surgery is best for permanent relief)
Note the bruising in the top left picture caused by pressure from the nail plate.

The orange/brown colour is from topical antiseptic. As my regulars know, I apply it liberally, always 😁... unless you have allergies. 👍

I've been busy with Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre training.

A lot can happen in a hurry when you are diagnosed with cancer.
The Cancer Council has online guides, in easy English, to help you receive the best care at every step.

They will help you with what questions to ask, direct you to support groups, and there are specially trained staff you can call with your questions and concerns.

Carers also have a dedicated support and advice helpline.

Find guides created specifically to help you understand what to expect during all stages of cancer care, from diagnosis to treatment and living with cancer

You have spoken and I have listened!
I am moving my Thursday clinic to a Friday, when fewer doctors are in, meaning more available parking spaces.

If you already have an appointment booked on a Thursday you will receive a phone call offering you the same time on that Friday, or an appointment on another day that suits.
