This week marks COPD Week, an important opportunity to highlight the ongoing impact of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on many Australians and to reinforce the value of proactive lung health.

The Australian National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) offers low-dose CT scans designed to support earlier detection of lung cancer, when treatment options may be more effective.
Eligibility includes adults 50–70 years of age with a history of long-term smoking. If you or someone you know may meet these criteria, we encourage you to speak with your GP to learn more about the program and whether screening is appropriate.

High St Xray Bendigo is an approved NLCSP provider, offering low-dose CT scans Monday to Friday, 8.00am–5.30pm.
Appointments can be made by calling 03 5441 9999.

High St Xray is proud to be involved in the National Lung Cancer Screening Program, now active across Australia.

This government-funded initiative uses low-dose CT scans to detect lung cancer early, before symptoms appear, when treatment is most effective.

You may be eligible for a bulk billed screening scan if you:
✔️ Are aged between 50 and 70 years
✔️ Have a history of long term smoking
✔️ Do not have any current symptoms of lung cancer

Low-dose CT scans are fast, non-invasive, and readily available at our High St Xray clinic.

Appointments are offered Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 5:30pm.

If you believe you may be eligible, please consult your GP for further information and to obtain a referral.

Together, we can detect lung cancer earlier and save lives.
