Bendigo Health is proud to announce a major boost to our research capability, thanks to the generous support of Agnico Eagle Mines Limited. Their funding will establish our very first Chair of Clinical Research.

This landmark investment is a vital first step toward creating a leading regional clinical research hub, bringing together clinician-researchers and academic partners to drive innovation and deliver better health outcomes for patients across the Loddon Mallee.

Counterpart is bringing a free regional wellbeing day to Bendigo on Thursday 27 November.

The day will be held at the All Seasons Resort, and will include gentle movement activities to support overall health, an information session, and a mindful activity. Drinks, morning tea and a light lunch will also be provided. This event is a great opportunity to connect with other women who understand the challenges of living with cancer.

Counterpart and Bendigo Health welcome women at any stage of their cancer diagnosis to this completely free event. A friend, family member or carer is also welcome to attend.

Please note that although this event is free registration, is required for catering purposes.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, Bendigo Health has been able to purchase a new specialised skin grafting device.

This innovative equipment helps our surgical team treat complex wounds, burns and skin cancers by safely taking thin layers of healthy skin and transplanting them where it’s needed most. The result? Faster healing, less discomfort and better outcomes for patients, right here in Bendigo.

Adroit Insurance & Risk and McKern Steel Foundation recently hosted their first inaugural charity golf day raising funds for Bendigo Health's Special Care Nursery.

It was great to show Michael and Chris around the unit and even more exciting to show them the new ATOM Incubator, a crucial tool that supports the care and recovery of premature and unwell babies that was funded through the golf day.

The young artists at Jenny's ELC Bendigo have been busy creating beautiful pieces for the 9th annual Bendigo Health Foundation fundraiser.

Our judging panel, featuring Joan O’Brien from Exemplar Health, Lauren Ellis, Curatorial Manager from Bendigo Art Gallery and Shaun Spence from Bendigo Health Foundation, had the tough job of selecting their favourites from an impressive collection. All artworks will be auctioned tonight, with funds raised helping support the work of the Bendigo Health Foundation. 🎨

Thanks to the incredible efforts of this year’s Bendigo Ford Fun Run and everyone who took part, funds raised have helped purchase a new ECG machine for Bendigo Health’s Cancer Centre.

This important piece of equipment will support our team in monitoring patients’ heart health during cancer treatment, ensuring safer and more effective care close to home.
