Access to fuel is critical for funeral services - it’s not optional.

Every day, we spend time travelling across our region to care for loved ones and support families during their most difficult times. These services are urgent and cannot be delayed.

Too often, our industry is overlooked as an essential provider, leading to challenges in securing the resources we need. This is just another one of those times.

Without reliable fuel, families may face disruptions in care when it matters most.
We have reached out to key leaders in our community to advocate for funeral services to be officially recognised as essential in fuel planning.

We choose to be a member of many professional industry associations for moments like this, because with them our community is better off.
It ensures high standards of care, accountability, and it provides a platform for our industry to be heard at times like this, when it matters most.

Because when someone needs us, care must not wait.

Funeral directors travel significant distances every day to bring loved ones into care and support families through the funeral process. Reliable access to fuel is essential to ensure these services continue without disruption.

As the peak national body, Funerals Australia is advocating to State and Federal Ministers for funeral services to be recognised as an essential service in any fuel prioritisation arrangements, helping ensure families can continue to receive care when they need it most.

Join us in advocating for recognition of funeral services in emergency fuel planning.
