🎄 Christmas Holiday Notice 🎄

Please note the times our SASS office staff will be unavailable over the Christmas holiday period.

For all general enquiries, please email info@sasscare.com.au, and we will get back to you as soon as possible after the holidays.

Our on-call phone is for Emergencies Only and will remain available during this time. This service is staffed by team members who are on leave with their friends and family, so if your call isn’t answered straight away, we always endeavour to return missed calls within 30 minutes. We kindly ask that the on-call service is used only for genuine emergencies.

Yes... .. about time!

🚨𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀: Big news for the disability sector - the government has confirmed 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for 𝗦𝗜𝗟 and 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 commencing 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. NDS and our members have long advocated for proportionate, fair regulation that keeps participants safe and supports quality services.

We commend Ministers Butler and McAllister and the NDIS Commission for listening and acting. This announcement signals a commitment from this government to improved safeguarding and quality for NDIS participants. The Australian Government has now released its Mid Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO), and confirmed mandatory registration for and digital platform providers from July 2026.
