*HEARING NEWS*
Music, made for Deaf and hard of hearing people
A new app has recently launched that aims to make music more accessible for people who are Deaf/hearing impaired.
Amplio is a free app for Deaf and hard of hearing people to experience music in ways that actually work for them:
Vibrations that match the beat, lyrics, and emotions — not just the bass (so much more than what you feel when you go to a night club)
Visuals that show every instrument and when each note happens
Sound that’s been rebuilt to suit our hearing – whether you use hearing aids, cochlear implants, or neither
Tools to unpack songs, so you can understand what’s happening and feel confident talking about music
