Loddon Mallee Nurse Practitioner Mentor Program The Loddon Mallee Nurse Practitioner Mentoring Program (LM NP MP) supports NP, NPC's and Advance Pra (Usually in held Bendigo). New members are most welcome.

The Loddon Mallee Nurse Practitioner Mentoring Program LM NP MP) was formed in April 2008 for the purpose of supporting Nurse Practitioner Candidates (NPC) and to promote NPs and their roles in the Loddon Mallee health region. Since its inception the LM NP MP membership has grown to include NP/Cs throughout the Bendigo, Heathcote,Maryborough and Castlemaine Health facilities. The LM NP MP actively liaises with larger organisations such as the Department of Rural Nursing, La Trobe Rural Health School and the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners(ACNP). The LM NP MP is a dynamic group that meet for quarterly interactive workshops. Teleconferencing facilities are available and it is anticipated videoconferencing facilities may be available in 2014. All meetings have an education focus and include activities such as pharmacology, portfolio preparation for NPCs preparing for endorsement and case study presentations.
