We are proud to be part of the Peggys Cafe 'Giving Tree' initiative in the lead up to Christmas.

Earlybird - along with a bunch of other local businesses - will be a drop off point for donations that will go to two amazing local charities: Sunshine Bendigo and Lets Chat Park - both are run solely by volunteers, with no government funding.

Sunshine Bendigo help new parents and families in need with essential items.

Let’s Chat Park Bendigo is a mental health group based at the old VRI bowling greens and supports a wide range of community groups who use the space and feeds families twice a week.

We are asking YOU, our amazing community members, to donate unwrapped toys for 0-6yrs for Sunshine Bendigo and gifts or gift vouchers for the displaced and less fortunate adults that Lets Chat see week in, week out.

Well done to Jo at Peggys Cafe for starting the initiative that can truly make a difference to people in our community this Christmas! 🌲

Hello!!
At Lets Chat Park this Christmas, we’re helping make sure every child ( plus Mum & Dad) in Central Victoria feels the joy of the season.
We’re inviting local families who are doing it tough to nominate their children to receive Christmas gifts. No judgment, no barriers — just community kindness when it matters most.

At the same time, we’re calling on our wider Central Victorian community to come together in the true spirit of giving.
If you’re in a position to help, you can support in two meaningful ways:

1️⃣ Donate a Gift

Purchase a new, unwrapped gift for a child or teen and drop it off at our collection and Christmas tree points

Every gift goes directly to a local young person whose family is struggling this Christmas.

2️⃣ Donate Financially via the PRD Community Fund
