🍔🎳 Burgers, Bowling & Big Cannonball Energy! 🎳🍔

Our Adult Social Group rolled into Boss Burgers & Dreams for dinner before hitting the lanes for some bowling fun at Bendigo Bowl! 🙌 Shoutout to Mitch, Edward, Matt, Emma and Tori for making it such a great night.

Due to scorching hot weather 🌡️, our group decided to make some changes to their evening by choosing indoor activities 👏💙

Special mention to Mitch, now officially nicknamed “Cannonball” thanks to the serious power behind that bowling arm 💥🎳

Another fun-filled ASG session in the books! Great vibes and lots of laughs 😄✨

Our Direct Support team recently hosted a ☕️ morning tea to celebrate one of our incredible support workers, Michele, on her retirement after more than 10 years of dedicated service 👏

Michele’s commitment to making the everyday better for our participants 💛 has been truly invaluable, and her care, compassion, and dedication 🌟 will be deeply missed.

🧱 Bendigo LEGO lovers, we need your ideas (and maybe your spare bricks)!

Jack and Millsy heard that our participants and sensory zone visitors love LEGO, so they generously donated some blocks they’re no longer using, giving them a brilliant second life at Lifely.

Now our participants are diving into big, creative builds, while our sensory zone participants use LEGO to help regulate emotions, focus, and feel calm in a safe, supportive space.

Another stint of very hot weather is forecast across our region from 24th to 28th of January.

Your safety matters. Please stay informed through the VicEmergency app for real-time alerts about extreme heat, fire risk, smoke and other emergencies.

🔥 Fire risk is high. Fires can start easily and spread quickly. Listen to CFA warnings and, if you need to leave, leave early and leave safely.

Stay safe in the heat:
💧 Drink water often
❄️ Keep cool with fans, air conditioning or cool showers
⏰ Avoid going out during the hottest part of the day
📞 Check in on family, friends or neighbours
🤝 Ask for help or changes to your supports if needed

If you need to adjust your support sessions due to the heat, contact your coordinator or call 1300 799 421 so we can plan together.

Our Sibling Social group wrapped up the year with an unforgettable Christmas lights bus tour.🎄 Before sunset, everyone enjoyed exploring the beautiful Irymple Sunflowers Garden 🌻, and once night fell, we set off to discover Mildura’s most dazzling Christmas light displays. 🎅🚌💡

From 1 July 2026, all Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers must be registered with the NDIS Commission.

✅ Lifely is already registered
✅ Our SIL services will continue as normal

If you or a family member currently use an unregistered provider, this change could affect your supports — and it’s important to understand your options.
