If you experience the warning signs of a heart attack, tell someone how you feel.

The Cardiac Centre welcomes Dr Glen Aprile in February 2025.

Dr. Aprile is a dedicated interventional cardiologist specialising in complex heart procedures, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). He studied pharmacy and medicine at the University of Queensland and trained at top hospitals in Australia and Canada, gaining expertise in advanced heart interventions.

Dr. Aprile is passionate about providing exceptional cardiac care, and values clear communication with his patients and colleagues. He treats all adult heart conditions and enjoys teaching and mentoring future doctors. A published researcher and senior lecturer at Griffith University, he also holds staff specialist positions at Gold Coast University Hospital and Tweed Valley Hospital. ❤️

The Cardiac Centre welcomes Dr Andrew Anthony Mamo in March 2025!

Dr. Mamo is a passionate Cardiologist with expertise in Echocardiography, Cardiac CT, and Cardiac MRI. After graduating from Sydney University in 2014, he trained at top hospitals, including St Vincent’s and Prince of Wales. He now holds a VMO position at Eastern Heart Clinic, where he specialises in advanced heart imaging and structural heart care.
Dr. Mamo is dedicated to understanding each patient as a whole person, ensuring personalised care for heart health.

Outside of work, he enjoys music, indoor soccer, film photography, and driving vintage cars for charity.
