Children from Leopold’s Guardian Kindergarten have visited residents at Kensington Grange a few times this month! And what fun they have had! The children decorated the residents as their very own Christmas tree on one visit and enjoyed a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus on their final visit for the year. With snow, lollipops and even beautiful cards made by the children for their special friends at Kensington Grange, the connections built have been a beautiful experience for all!

Residents at Point Cook Manor were recently treated to a magical Christmas celebration! The Palm Lakes Choir visited and filled the home with festive joy, performing a beautiful selection of Christmas songs that warmed everyone’s hearts.
To make the day even more special, Mrs Claus stopped by to spend time with the residents, sharing smiles and laughter as the choir sang. Her visit added an extra touch of holiday magic and personal connection to the festivities.
It was a truly memorable occasion, leaving everyone with lasting smiles and cherished memories. Thank you to the Palm Lakes Choir and Mrs Claus for making this Christmas so wonderful!

The residents of Sunset Views Manor had a wonderful time visiting the Christmas lights at Melbourne’s Docklands! The evening was filled with joy as everyone enjoyed walking around, taking in the sparkling displays, and sharing in the festive spirit. The night was completed with a tour of the dazzling Christmas lights around Tarneit making the trip home just as memorable as the outing itself.

Residents, families, and staff gathered at Ferndale Gardens to celebrate the festive season together, enjoying delicious food, joyful laughter, and dancing. The atmosphere sparkled with holiday cheer, thanks to wonderful music performed by Stan Azzopardi and Jeff Patterson. It was a heartwarming occasion filled with memorable moments and the true spirit of Christmas.

Despite the rainy weather, over 6,700 enthusiastic participants made their way to the Geelong waterfront on Sunday for Run 4 Geelong!

Homestyle was proud to be a sponsor and loved seeing our amazing staff show their support by joining the 5km walk. Thank you to everyone who braved the elements and made the day such a success!

We were delighted to welcome the Australian Government, Department of Health, Disability and Ageing Minister to Homestyle Aged Care Sunset Views Manor Manor in Tarneit for a special visit today.

Minister Sam Rae joined us to hold a press conference to celebrate the commencement of the new Aged Care Act and highlight Sunset Views Manor as a quality care facility that is serving the community.

Minister Rae took time to tour Homestyle Sunset Views Manor, meeting with residents and staff along the way.

It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the warm and caring environment at Sunset Views Manor and to discuss the positive changes ahead for the aged care sector. 💙

Big congratulations to the talented residents of Kensington Grange for their amazing achievements at this year’s Geelong Show!

Residents entered a variety of creative pieces, from knitting and painting to group art projects—and their hard work paid off!

Irene received a “Highly Commended” for her knitted “Bluey” and took third place for her “knitted knitting bag.” June earned third place for all three of her entries: a knitted toy, a painting, and a crocheted rug. Helen won first place for her beautiful diamond art!

The residents also worked together on a group project, a tiled image of Marilyn Monroe overlooking Eastern Beach, Geelong which won second place in the “Community or Hobby Group’s Work” section.

Congratulations to everyone for their wonderful achievements. We are so proud of you all!

Creativity is in full bloom at Sea Views Manor. Residents have been getting crafty and designing their very own handmade fascinators just in time for the Spring Racing Carnival.

With feathers, flowers, and plenty of laughter, the room was buzzing with creativity as each resident added their personal touch to these stunning headpieces.

We’re very excited to show off these fabulous creations during our upcoming celebrations—stay tuned for more carnival fun and flair!
