❌ Choose your restriction….❌

I hear people all the time saying “I could never stop eating gluten, it’s too restrictive”.

For those people that are gluten sensitive (and I’m going to argue that most people are) eating gluten is a HUGE restriction. For me, it restricts almost every aspect of my life.

My body aches.
My mind is foggy.
My joints are inflamed.
My stomach hurts.
I get sick easily.
I am exhausted.
My body is weak.
My moods are flat.

Restricting gluten on my plate is LIBERATING! It means I don’t have to suffer from any of those restrictions. It means I can show up and participate in life to the fullest (like here, snorkelling with my favourites).

Choose your hard. A small restriction on your plate can have a monumental liberation for your body.

This kind of reporting is wildly dangerous and misleading 😆 There are levels of gluten allergy ranging from sensitivities to intolerances and celiacs disease. To say that ‘before cutting out gluten you should first test for celiacs disease’ is downright irresponsible and horrifying coming from a specialist.

When it comes to gluten free bread, what’s really going into your loaf?

Store bought gluten free breads are filled to the hilt with absolute crap. Your body doesn’t recognise the ingredients (and I can hardly pronounce them 😆).

Swipe across to make your own. I often diving this into two smaller loaf pans.
