Passed away peacefully in the Berri Hospital after a long illness with Trish and family by his side, on March 26, 2026.
Aged 92 years.
Loving husband of Pamela (dec).
Loved father and father-in-law of Vic and Sue, Rosalyn (dec), Trish and Spen, Andrew (dec), Gina and Chris.
Cherished grand-dad of 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Denis's funeral service to be conducted in the Riverland Funerals Chapel, 32 Hughes Street, Berri on Wednesday April 8, 2026 at 11.00 am.

In Denis's memory, if desired, donations to Kidney Health Australia would be appreciate. Donations may be made at the service.

At the conclusion of the service the cortege will proceed to the Berri Cemetery for the committal.

In lieu of flowers if desired, a donation to the Volunteers Cobdogla Steam Museum in Doug's memory would be appreciated. Donations may be made at the service.

The Steam Museum volunteers will drive “Douglas” the Traction Engine to the site and play the whistle as a mark of respect.
