WHAT'S A CLOUD GONG?

Great question - I'm still learning about it.

*I found 10 small gongs on Buy Swap and Sell.
*Researched how they fit together.
*Discover that its an old Chinese instrument.
⚪
I thought this could work for sound healing.

After working with the talented Adrian and Robert at the Berri Men's shed, we now have the frame and an amazing new instrument.

Time to experiment with the sounds of each gong to see how it plays.

🌿Women's Drumming in Nature for 2025. 🌿

We gathered with all the elements of air, water, earth, the cloud hidden sun, and felt the incredible peace that nature offers.
🌧⛅️💨🍃

We drummed a beautiful soothing rhythm, that gave the feeling of gentle feminine power and connection that emerges when we go slowly and mindfully.

We explored several guardian trees and found one that looked like a dragon. We can learn so much from these giants.

We often look for faces on trees now, as I understand that these are signs of nature spirits - or they are guiding us to look for Ley Lines.

A BIG thank YOU to all the women who have joined us this year. Each session is completely heart expanding with your presence.

We are Fully Booked for the Spring Equinox Sound Bath. ✨

These fortunate people will be testing out a new cosy and comfortable space to rest and experience the healing presence of many beautiful sounds.

I've noticed recently that the sound healing world is exploding with many more people's minds opening up to this experience. My heart knows that this is to help us align more deeply with ourselves and to find new ways to wellness.

Bravo to all 🌿U3A D R U M M E R S 🌿....And a BIG shout out to Andrew Duncan for inviting us to drum at his Food Forest in Monash.

A 'Taste of Drumming' was held over 3 weeks to a group of open minded, rhythmic, wise and curious people.
⚪
Together we created healing sounds and rhythms, merged our sounds together in harmony and discovered that we really are People of the Drum!

Surrounded by so many open hearted women, cocooned in the calming energy of the trees, supported by the earth beneath us, and surrounded by singing birds of all kinds.
🪽
.... and then ....a flooded road to navigate and a sandbar that became an Island. 😉
🪽
The largest and healthiest tree we found - the real matriarch at the grove -came in at somewhere between 500 and 600 years old.
🪽
Thanks to all for gifting us with your ever evolving beautiful matriarchal qualities. ❣
