We are now open for Telehealth OT!

And we have no waitlist!

We know that for many people, face to face OT is the best option. But, we also know that for so many Riverland families, there are just not enough OTs to see everyone, and a lot of you are on very long waitlists.  That is why we have decided to open up our dedicated Telehealth OT service!  We curr...

Good morning,
In line with stage 4 restrictions applied to SA as of midnight last night, all staff, clients, siblings and caregivers entering our clinic are now required to be wearing a face mask at all times. Children under 12 years are not required to wear a mask. We do not have spare masks available for purchase so please make sure you bring one with you. Please continue to use our QR code to check in on arrival.

We also ask that if you or your child have cold or flu like symptoms, including a runny nose, cough or sneeze, please DO NOT come into our clinic. Please phone our admin on 08 8582 1645 to reschedule your appointment.

We appreciate your compliance and understanding during this time. Stay safe!

🧽 WASH THE ANIMALS🧽

This is an easy to set up, cost effective and even edible sensory game!

Simply mix flour, cocoa powder and water in a container until you have a muddy consistency. Made from edible ingredients, this is a game for all ages! (Recommended 10+ months). In a seperate container, just add water! Dish soap can also be added for extra bubbly fun.

Select toys that are easy to clean, throw in a few sponges and it’s good to go!

This game is great for kids of all ages, even the bigger ones get a kick out of it. It helps with a range of skills:
- Language skills
- Fine motor skills
- Practical life skills
- Concentration and perseverance
- Strengthening neural pathways

Allowing the older kids to help prepare the ‘mud’ can add an extra layer of fun, while incorporating a sense of responsibility and problem solving.

Jess was inspired to give this a go at home with her son Lewis, the idea came from . Check her out on Instagram for heaps of other play hacks, sensory games and other fun things!

Let us know if you give it a go!

Have you heard of Scott Stuart?

Scott Stuart is an Australian father, author and illustrator. Scott wrote his first book "My Shadow is Pink" for his son Colin, who loves nothing more than dressing up in princess dresses, particularly his favourite character, Elsa.
My Shadow is Pink teaches us how to break through the stereotypes and learn how to support and embrace our differences.

He followed up on that book with 'Alone', this beautifully illustrated book teaches us that even when we feel alone, that friendship is just a moment away.

His latest release, 'How to be a Real Man', encourages boys to embrace who they truly are in this empowering and funny story, smashing age-old assumption about what it means to be a man.

Scott is passionate about dismantling gender stereotypes and empowering children to follow their own unique path.

Check out his page Scott Stuart to find the links on where you can buy his books! Scott is certainly an author to watch!
