A wonderful service in a beautiful location and a Northern Territory FIRST! We have been working hard behind the scenes for over 12 months to bring a FREE service for perinatal mental health families to the NT community. Our aim is to advocate for services where they are needed and are proud to partner with the Gidget Foundation who provide psychologists and Credentialed mental health nurses to our community.

Thanks to APNA - Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association for facilitating Spanish Registered Nurses Lucia and Raquel who attended our clinic to learn more about the Australian health care system and the role of a primary health care nurse. The Gidget Foundation Australia is available in person at the Berry Springs clinic or via telehealth NT wide. They provide a range of FREE specialist treatment programs for families including individual psychological counselling.

You are not alone. Speak to your NP about a referral and mental health treatment plan to access this free service.

Thankyou to our super star Chelsea for bringing a bit of magic to the clinic. RTHC is excited to bring a new service to the rural area. We have been working hard behind the scenes to bring the Gidget Foundation to the Berry Springs clinic. The perinatal mental health service is the first for the NT and we are proud to partner with this NGO to provide mental health services to expecting mums and to support mums and families up to 12 months after birth. More information to come as we prepare a beautiful space for the psychologist and mental health nurse joining the clinic.
