Dr Andrew has been enjoying his paternity leave after the birth of their beautiful little girl Peyton.
Here she is having her first adjustment at just a few days old.
You might be wondering how on earth does a baby get adjusted or why does a baby need to get adjusted….
Well we’re glad you asked!
Pediatric chiropractic care looks VERY different to adult chiropractic care. There’s no “cracking” or anything forceful in fact Peyton stayed asleep the whole time. It’s incredibly gentle and the research literature shows it’s incredibly safe.
Why would a baby need an adjustment? The birth process can be stressful on a baby’s spine and nervous system. Their nervous system is in a state of rapid development so we don’t want any interference through its growth and development. The research has also shown pediatric chiropractic care can help with:
