We are seeking dynamic Occupational Therapy assistant to join our vibrant team.

Carinya care has two facilities:
Carinya of Bicton provides residential aged care including a specialist dementia care wing, a low care wing and a transitional care program.
Carinya of Bristol is our smaller residential aged care facility providing an exceptional level of care and service.
Carinya is located in Bicton just a short drive to the river and Fremantle, surrounded by cafes.

About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic, organised and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will be self-driven with a passion for Aged Care.
As an important part of the team you will:
Prepare monthly therapy and lifestyle programs, organise specific events and excursions
Implement therapy and lifestyle programs for groups and individual residents
Adapt activities to resident’s level of function under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
Address physical and psychological needs and provide opportunities for meaningful engagement for residents
Maintain electronic documentation
Assist with providing equipment for TCP clients and residents
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Excellent customer service skills.
Computer literate
Excellent time management skills and flexibility to prioritise needs
Sound written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
