Happy 10th Birthday Bodyfit and Flex Pilates Studio

I still remember coming up with the name while I was scrubbing the main toilet in the fifth house I cleaned that day.

After cleaning five houses a day, 5 days a week for four years straight, it was time to take a chance and follow a dream.

I gave myself a year to slowly hand back the key 🔑 of every house I cleaned 🧹🧼 as I built my clientele up in my garage with 3 reformer beds, an industrial fan and window aircon.

Teaching 5am and 6am sessions, helping 3 small children get ready for school, then clean 5 houses, picked up the kids and did all the mum
non-negotiables before teaching afternoon/evening sessions ON REPEAT for 5 months straight, it nearly broke me, but I did it. I was a woman on a Misson and handed the last key back after 5 months and signed my very first commercial contract in an old run down building…

TRX Tabata is a high-intensity workout that combines TRX suspension training with Tabata timing (20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest, repeated).

Here’s what it actually means:

TRX
A suspension system using straps to train with your bodyweight, improving:
• Core strength
• Stability + balance
• Full-body functional strength

Tabata
A specific HIIT format:
• 20 seconds of maximum effort
• 10 seconds rest
• Repeated for multiple rounds

Put together = TRX Tabata

A session that is:
• Fast, fiery + high-intensity
• Full-body strengthening
• Core-focused (TRX always hits the core)
• Great for conditioning + fat burn
• Low-impact but challenging
