🌙 Keep a consistent bedtime and wake-up time
📖 Create a calm, predictable bedtime routine
📵 Switch off screens at least 1 hour before bed

Whether a child is playing on their own or with other kids, they’re busy building important skills. Solo play helps develop imagination, confidence and problem-solving. Play with others adds in turn-taking, sharing, communication and learning to manage big emotions together. In paediatric OT, we use both individual play and group play to support children’s development across home, kindy and school.

🎄✨ Our Christmas OT Groups Are Open for Registration! ✨🎄

We’re so excited to welcome families to our festive holiday groups this year! These sessions are designed by our paediatric occupational therapists to support children’s development in a fun, engaging, and Christmassy environment.

During our small-group sessions, children will take part in playful, skill-building activities such as:

⭐ Sensory play with holiday-themed materials
⭐ Fine-motor crafts (think cutting, sticking, decorating and creating!)
⭐ Gross-motor games to support coordination and confidence
⭐ Social skill opportunities through turn-taking, teamwork and connection
⭐ Calm-down strategies to help children regulate during the busy holiday season

Our aim is to create a warm, supportive space where children can learn new skills, build confidence, and enjoy the magic of Christmas (all while having fun and making memories!)

Spaces are limited and fill quickly each year, so be sure to grab a spot early!

We thought it was important that you got to know the faces behind our fun and creative therapy sessions. Over the coming days, we’ll be introducing you to all our amazing paediatric occupational therapists!!

First up — Megan! 🩷💙
Megan is our Director and Senior Occupational Therapist, and the heart behind our clinic. She leads our team with energy, laughter, and brings a little extra rhythm to our sessions (rumour has it she once went by DJ Megstar 🎵). She’s passionate about helping kids grow in confidence and loves turning therapy into a whole lot of fun!
