Alexis is a valued member of the Zest Infusion team who brings warmth, dedication, and care to the work she does each day. Being part of Zest means supporting people in meaningful ways and helping create a space where individuals feel heard, understood, and supported. ๐ŸŒฟ

Alexis shared, "One of my favourite wellbeing reminders is that self-care is not selfish โ€” itโ€™s essential. So many of us are natural caregivers. We show up for our families, our friends, our clients, and our teams without hesitation. But we canโ€™t pour from an empty cup. I always think of the oxygen mask analogy on an aeroplane: youโ€™re instructed to put your own mask on first before helping anyone else. Not because youโ€™re more important โ€” but because youโ€™re no good to anyone if you canโ€™t breathe. The same applies to mental health and well-being. When we prioritise rest, boundaries, nourishment, movement, or even just quiet time, weโ€™re not taking away from others โ€” weโ€™re ensuring we have the capacity to truly show up for them.
Taking care of yourself allows you to give from a full, grounded place instead of from exhaustion or burnout. And that benefits everyone around you."
