To continue celebrating OT Week 2025, we’re shining a spotlight on one of our incredible Occupational Therapists — Steph! 💛

Steph is passionate about empowering participants to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest through meaningful support.

Here’s what Steph had to share about her role and what being an Occupational Therapist means to her:

Friday Night Social: Axe Throwing & Glow Darts! 🎯

Ready to unleash your inner champion? Join us on Friday 26 September, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM for a night packed with adrenaline, laughs, and friendly rivalry.

We’re kicking things off with axe throwing at Kiss My Axe 🪓, then lighting up the night with an electrifying round of Glow Darts 🎯 at Blacktown.

Here’s the plan:
📅 Friday 26 September
🕕 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
📍 Kiss My Axe & Glow Darts, Blacktown
🍔 Food stop at Westpoint in between

💲 Cost:
$25 for Glow Darts
$55 for Axe Throwing

Meet Phillip and Speech Pathologist Bronte. A pair showing exactly what impact through communication looks like. With consent from Phillip’s mum, we’re sharing his breakthrough story: from frustration to clarity, confidence, and connection; all through brave communication.

Thanks to play-based therapy, visuals, social stories, AAC + LAMP, and DTTC techniques, Phillip can now say his name clearly, and speak up for what he needs at home and school. It’s more than speech; it’s independence, inclusion, wellbeing, and so much more.
