Life First Aid Courses was created in 2017 to provide quality first aid training to the greater Western Sydney and Blue Mountains areas by qualified paramedics with first aid training qualifications - and who are parents themselves! At this time, the First Aid for Parents and Carers (FAFPAC) course was specifically designed to cater to a growing need and demand from soon-to-be parents (as well as those who already had kids) in the area who wanted to know more about how to care for their child/ren and what to do should an emergency arise. The course gives knowledge and basic training in what do in an emergency situation involving their kids so you can gain confidence and peace-of-mind when it comes to things like CPR, trauma, allergies, and breathing difficulties such as asthma. It is a fun, relaxed 3 hour workshop presented by an experience paramedic and trainer and includes a mix of instructional videos, hands-on CPR practice and take home notes. We also offer follow-up support and regular updates to those who have already attended a course to continue helping parents make confident decisions. Nationally recognised training is also available.
