And thats a wrap! As we come to the end of another year, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to our clients, families, carers, and the incredible support agencies we work alongside.

We are truly grateful for the trust you place in us — trusting us with your children, your clients, and your journeys. It is a privilege we never take lightly. Being invited into your lives and walking alongside you through growth, challenges, and milestones is an honour.

To our clients and families: thank you for allowing us to be part of your world. Your resilience, openness, and commitment inspire us every day.

Our Story

At Sydney Equine Assisted Learning, we offer a range of therapeutic and educational activities involving horses.

We offer both Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (Eagala Model -EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning Programs (EAL). It is a therapy that uses horses to help humans.

EAP sessions include the support of a qualified counsellor, as is required for the EAGALA Model. EAL sessions are designed around learning and are delivered in an educational setting, without the inclusion of a Mental Heath professional. However, EAL does have the potential to be therapeutic.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy may be applied in a range of areas but can be very beneficial when working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress and people with intellectual or physical disability. As there is no riding involved with EAP, everyone, regardless of ability is able to participate ,increasing access to those who may not have been able to join in before.
