Kicked off our first for the year in the best way 💛

We spent time journaling about goals for the year and what everyone wants from their sessions, explored mindfulness cards, and enjoyed a little self-care with face masks. ✨

It was so lovely reconnecting with the crew. It was a great reset with lots of laughs.

Here’s to a year of growth, confidence and supporting each other every step of the way 🌻

Our Story

At Sydney Equine Assisted Learning, we offer a range of therapeutic and educational activities involving horses.

We offer both Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (Eagala Model -EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning Programs (EAL). It is a therapy that uses horses to help humans.

EAP sessions include the support of a qualified counsellor, as is required for the EAGALA Model. EAL sessions are designed around learning and are delivered in an educational setting, without the inclusion of a Mental Heath professional. However, EAL does have the potential to be therapeutic.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy may be applied in a range of areas but can be very beneficial when working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress and people with intellectual or physical disability. As there is no riding involved with EAP, everyone, regardless of ability is able to participate ,increasing access to those who may not have been able to join in before.
