We’re often asked — do you bulk bill ultrasounds?

At Blayney Ultrasound, we're a private billing practice and currently don’t bulk bill. There’s an out-of-pocket fee for all of our diagnostic ultrasound services. You can see a full breakdown of fees and Medicare rebates on our website when you go to klrmedical.com.au/blayneyultrasound and scroll to the booking section.

Each appointment type lists the fee and the standard rebate you’ll receive, and if you’ve reached your Medicare threshold, you may be eligible for a higher rebate.

If you’d like to know more, our admin team can discuss fees when you book or confirm your appointment by phone. Give us a call on 02 6368 3401 between 9am and 3pm, Monday to Friday. You'll also receive an email confirmation for any appointment made online or over the phone at also includes the fees, rebate and ultrasound preparation needed.

Appointments are available this week for both 3D pregnancy ultrasounds and diagnostic ultrasounds at Blayney Ultrasound.

All referrals are welcome for diagnostic scans.

If you’re joining us for a 3D pregnancy ultrasound, no referral is required. These keepsake sessions are available from 16 weeks and offer a beautiful way to see your baby in more detail.

Did you know we can sometimes offer out-of-hours ultrasound appointments?

When you book online, you’ll see our standard clinic hours — those are the days and times we’re open for regular bookings. However, we understand that life doesn’t always fit neatly into a schedule. If those times don’t suit, please reach out to us.

We have appointments available tomorrow, Wednesday 22nd, for both 3D pregnancy ultrasounds and diagnostic ultrasounds.

All referrals are accepted for diagnostic scans.
For 3D pregnancy ultrasounds (entertainment only), no referral is needed. These sessions are available from 16 weeks, after you’ve had at least one diagnostic scan for this pregnancy. Please note, 3D scans are an optional keepsake experience and do not replace your routine medical ultrasounds.

Central West women and teens, our HerHealth workshops are designed to help you finally understand how your body works — with ultrasound bringing it all to life in real time.

Suggested for ages 14+, this session is perfect for young women starting to ask questions, mums wanting to feel confident answering their daughters, or any woman ready to connect the dots about her body. The age guide is flexible, so if you’re younger with parental OK, you can join too.

Here’s what happens in a workshop:
🌸 We use ultrasound to explore the uterus, ovaries, bladder, and surrounding organs.
🩸 We talk about periods, the menstrual cycle, and how hormones make it all happen.
🔎 We explain how different medications and contraceptives (like the pill, Mirena, or Implanon) can affect what we see on ultrasound and how your body works.
💬 There’s time for questions, space for curiosity, and reassurance that no question is too small.

Good to know:

Sessions run in Blayney during the October school holidays (29 Sept – 12 Oct).

Small groups, max 12 participants per session.

Cost is $50 per person.
