Today we bid farewell to our wonderful Vicki. Vicki has been an integral part of the NHS family since we opened the doors in 2016.

We would like to wish her all the very best with her retirement and thank her for all her help and support over the years.

Hi, we’re back after being quiet on here as we navigated a few changes at NHS in recent times.

You may have noticed a few new faces around the surgery. If you haven’t already met our 2 newest staff members Teeah and Lasharn, they are our lovely receptionists and will be assisting you with all your administrative needs and enquiries.

Dear Patients,

The end of the year is sneaking up on us. We would like to give you plenty of notice that we will be shut over the Christmas and New Year period.

Our practice will be open extended hours the week leading up to Christmas.

IMPORTANT REMINDER… As per our previous post in November.

You have all been aware of the challenging times our medical centre and other practices in the north of the Central Coast have been facing for the past couple of years due to severe GP shortages. We have explored every available avenue to recruit more GP’s to work at our practice from within Australia and abroad without any success. After much deliberation this has led us to make an extremely difficult decision to move to a fully private billing practice.

As of 1st January 2023 , there will be a private fee for ALL consultations for everyone regardless of pension or healthcare status.

Billing numbers as examples but not limited to:

Level B (standard consult) $70
Medicare rebate $ 39.75 Out of pocket $30.25

Level C (long consult) $110
Medicare rebate $76.95 Out of pocket $33.05
