In October 2013, I began teaching two yoga classes a week in the Bellingen Primary School hall. I had a bucket of second-hand mats gifted to me by the wonderful Bianca Machliss at — one of the schools I’d been lucky enough to teach at in Sydney — and a handful of postcards to spread the word around town.⁠
That was 12 years ago! ⁠
Today, we have our own beautiful, purpose-built studio in the heart of Bellingen — a space filled with light, peace, and a community that continues to inspire me every single day. We now have an incredible team of authentic, dedicated teachers and a precious community of yogis and yoginis… some of whom have been with me since those very first classes in the school hall. ⁠
I feel deeply blessed to share the practice of yoga with this community and am so grateful for your continued support, trust, and presence over the years. Here’s to many more years of practice, growth, and connection together. Thank you

Your identity.. like this projected simulated illusion is a construct..
It is not real..
Test it..
What do you identify with? And as? It’s all there..

Constructed..
All of it…
Along with your thoughts, feelings and emotions..
All of this earthly realm playout.. all of it your own making… for your own learning…

The complete opposite to ‘being’ and what you are in and as a soul entity… ‘being’ just is.

How ya’ll doing out there in eclipse land?
Holy #*^% hell huh?
How are the tirades? Your level of ‘seeing’, new awareness and witnessing of the ‘unravel’…
And yes it is perceptional.. all of it..there is no unfolding here…
The glass can be half empty or half full....
it is all about HOW you see, but also WHAT you see..
How is that playing out for you currently?

In conversations with my teacher Morphi -
‘ I just want to say there is no right or wrong, just learning. Remember, this is a nursery planet and therefore everything is happening for the right reason to move you forward. The universe doesn’t judge or coerce you, it just accepts for for who you are with no expectations.
Letting go of how you think opens up a whole new concept of who you really are without all the bells and whistles.
You are enough just as you are.’

I am about to open my books again, however am working in a much more somatic based, trauma informed, creative and energetic sense in sessions. Supporting clients to open up to their new frequency and connection in being while releasing trauma through the body in bottom up / body based practices and creative processes.

Coming back to yoga and meditation/ breath work 🧘‍♀️ in the only way I know how to - with FULL force dynamic vinyasa, somatic experiencing and a resonance so deep that higher consciousness punctuates movement and awareness.
SO much to say and riff on - I haven’t wanted to teach yoga F2F for a while - but that is all changing and coming back.
Heralding new forms, practices and ways of being that coexist and connect. ✨✨✨💜
P.s Where is your practice? How is that moving and changing as you are currently?
I am a creature of habits and routines due to ADHD. I do yoga for an hour a day before I do cardio/ resistance. Mixing it up is central for my mental interest but also to move, feel and circumnavigate differently.

Due to client requests for sessions I have just opened these two Sundays up as offerings to end my business as I transition, and to support what is going on for individuals during this epochal time.

Welcome to the Capricorn New Moon, the last new moon of 2024. With the energies of Capricorn and its ruling planet Saturn, we turn our focus towards goals and ambitions, order and structure, commitment and accountability, maturity and tangible growth. The new moon is exact on December 30, 2024 at 5:27 pm ET, 9 degrees Capricorn. 2:27 pm Los Angeles, 10:27 pm London 12:27 am Johannesburg on December 31, 3:57 am New Delhi, 9:27 am Sydney, 11:27 am Auckland.

New moons are new beginnings. Every month the page turns and in turn we live life through the lens of the sign of the new moon. When we have a new moon in Capricorn, we've reached the summit of the zodiac, a sign that represents material achievement, leadership, and power. It's our worldly life, too, especially the structures that support it.

However, nothing is given to us with Capricorn. Everything is built with time and hard work. We need a fair amount of commitment and dedication as a result, even if we are starting something under the energies of the Capricorn New Moon.

Then there's the other side of Capricorn and Saturn. It puts things in black and white. It can make for sobering realities. One person's pinnacle of achievement is another person's roadblock or, worse, a resounding "no".

This Capricorn New Moon period, it's always practical as well as a good idea to use this energy to clean things out and clean things up. Review your commitments. Are you showing up? Following through? Are you honoring your time and the time of others? Are things in order? Following a schedule? It's also an energy that is available to us to set a healthy boundary and to know our limits.

That said, this new moon points us towards Saturn in Pisces, a sign that Saturn has been in since March 2023. If Saturn is normally hard edged, in Pisces not so much. Instead, the work of Saturn has been through an emotional and spiritual lens the last 20 months. What have we learned? As materially focused Saturn usually is, in Pisces we need to build deep emotional connections and a greater sense of meaning and purpose. We need to cultivate our intuition and interiority. This new moon also brings us to the midpoint of the eclipses, which comes three months after a solar eclipse on October 2 and a solar eclipse to come on March 29, 2025. The midpoint marks entries and exit points. This may be a month that coincides with personal events, where someone enters from stage left. Or makes their final bow and leaves. Events may also thread back to events from October as well as presage events to come next March. (Note that the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn may be feeling this energy the most.)

Chiron has also just turned direct the day before the new moon. We may be navigating an emotional ache, an old pain point reanimated. Do we have the courage to let go? Move forward? Go after what we want?

We take this energy into the New Year.

2025 is an uncommon year because three outer planets change signs, including Saturn. This, on the heels of Pluto in Aquarius means that 2025 is the start of a new cycle. New stories will emerge in our lives as a result.
