After much thought and consideration I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that this year will be my last year sheep scanning. After 3 years of scanning sheep I will have to give it up due to ongoing shoulder problems as a result I will be downsizing in numbers this year and won’t be taking on any new clients ( also best to lower numbers to be able to cooperate with covid 19 and being flexible to move incase of quarantine) .

I am very sorry to clients and I thank you very much for the opportunity yous have given me!

In a dry season, it is extremely important for early pregnancy detection in particular with heifers! Pregnancy’s can be picked up at just 28 days! However best scanned at 6 weeks after bull removal for best accuracy.
Scanning this early can help with early decisions with empty cattle 🐃
