Prestige Inhome Care Client, Margaret recently shared some lovely words about her care team: "I am grateful for the care I’ve been receiving; it’s truly made such a difference in my life. I absolutely adore my team, and they feel like family to me.

They really understand what I need and what makes me comfortable. For me, it’s so important that people respect my personal space and don’t touch me too much. I like carers who are gentle, patient, and who pay attention to my routines helping me go to my appointments and my and social activities.

One thing they are truly amazing at is at helping me get dressed. They could dress the Queen! They always choose bright colours and that make me feel good about myself. They are so patient right down to putting my socks on!

Consistency is really important for me because changes can be really unsettling. In the past, I’ve had carers who weren’t the right fit, but you listened to me and made sure I got the right people. That means so much to me."

This year Prestige Inhome Care turned 20 and we decided to mark our anniversary with a client giveaway. Our lovely client Maureen was one of our 20 lucky winners. She went to the Sleeping Beauty Ballet at the Sydney Opera House and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Opera Bar with her carer Caroline. Maureen thoroughly enjoyed it and found the experience uplifting and “a great end to the year."

We’re pleased to share the arrival of Cabrini Health's new donor-funded PET CT Scanner, which will be operational early next year - a direct result of the Cabrini Giving Day we were proud to sponsor earlier this year.

The scanner will be operational in early-January, allowing Cabrini teams to diagnose patients faster and with greater accuracy.
