Occupational therapy is deeply founded in connecting meaning with purpose and participation.
When a child has the opportunity to feel the meaning in body and mind their spirit of inspiration ignites.
When they ‘get it” they want to ‘do it’- at school, at home, in the community.
Often in the process of doing, we understand meaning.
That’s why often therapy is in the process, not the product.
Washing the food for the meal. Walking the track for the swim. Collecting the rocks for the tower. Making the fort for the movie.
Opportunities are endless if we’re present in the process.
