Want to perform better at work?

Even a daily 5-minute meditation practice - as simple as sitting and concentration on your breath - can yield huge benefits in the workplace.

😌DECREASED STRESS: Lower your anxiety and worry. We all want that at work, don't we?

⚡IMPROVED FOCUS: Less thoughts rattling around in your head, better ability ability to concentrate and stay on task, more productive.

⚖️BALANCED DECISION MAKING: Do you make better decisions when you're calm and thinking clearly, or when you're stressed, anxious, and have a million thoughts running through your mind?

🗣️CLEARER COMMUNICATION and STRONGER COLLABORATION: Meditation helps reduce reactivity (e.g., not respond out of anger, stress, fear) and respond to other with greater empathy (e.g., be more open and less combative).

Try it this week. 🌴

Do you ever feel like mornings are the most stressful part of the day? Most of us do, and it’s often because we don’t start our day with a clear mind. Instead, we wake up feeling hazy, snooze our alarms, and barely have time to think before we’re rushing out the door to get to work.

At the moment, we are producing resources, using energy and creating waste at a rate that isn't sustainable. This leads to environmental issues, such as pollution and climate change, which cause harm to the environment, wildlife and humans. By making some small changes to your lifestyle, you can reduce your carbon footprint and help to tackle these issues.

Trying to create healthier habits?
Here are a few tips:

✔️Don’t wait for the perfect setting. You don't need a gym to work out. You don’t need a quiet place to meditate.🧘‍♀

✔️Schedule it into your day. Start scheduling the habits you’d like to create where you used to be running all kinds of errands and attending too many work meetings ;)

✔️Swap your scroll time with your new habit. Look at some of the things you spend discretionary time on like Facebook scrolling, and swap that with a 20 min meditation or a Yoga session.

✔️Surround yourself with support. Connect with friends online, set some goals together and hold each other accountable!

Introduce meditation as a productivity tool in your workplace. DM us for more info.🌞

Sometimes it's hard to quiet our minds. We average 12,000-60,000 thoughts per day and that can be pretty tiring.

Anytime throughout the day when you need to turn off thinking, take 5-10 minutes to do breathing exercises with your eyes closed.

To rest your mind, turn your phone off for 1-2 hours, a few times in a day. This will help curb the mindless scrolling and swiping. Try to do focused work without grabbing your phone in between. Take walks outside in between work sprints too.

To help you sleep at night, turn off your gadgets 1 hour before bed time and read a book instead of watching TV.

Did you know that you breathe around 23,000 times a day? The more breaths you are aware of during the day, the better. It helps you to become more aware. When you return your focus, you’re training attention; enhancing your cognitive abilities, and suspending mind wandering.🌻

By meditating, you’re drawing attention to the present moment through witnessing the breath objectively. This provides you with information about your thoughts and feelings – and your reactions to them.🧘‍♀
