Big news for your workout routine 💪
The American College of Sports Medicine just released their updated exercise guidelines and it’s the first update in 17 YEARS. So yeah, kind of a big deal.
We’ve broken it all down into bite-sized slides so you don’t have to read the 50-page report yourself 😅

Here’s the short version:
✅ 150 mins of moderate cardio OR 75 mins of vigorous cardio per week
✅ Strength training at least 2x per week, for EVERYONE
✅ Flexibility and balance training now officially on the list
✅ Exercise is good for your mental health (science finally caught up with what we already knew!)

The best part? Your program should be tailored to YOU 🫵 not a one-size-fits-all plan.

The loss of identity. The anxiety of stillness. The food stuff getting loud. The grief no one names.

Yes. Yes it is. Two of them actually.

Izzy was the first. 45kg of mixed breed chaos who somehow made me want to do it all again. RIP to the best girl. 🤍

Dex is the current resident devil child. 30kg kelpie cross with a stick addiction and zero remorse.

They’re both permanently on my leg, which means they’re with me every session, every run, every day at the clinic.

Don’t forget to add your 🐶 to our famous dog wall next time you’re in the clinic‼️
