⭐️ Program Highlight ⭐️

This participant has been working with Jenny to create a journal where he documents his work. This has been an individualised part of how he participates within the workshop.

We aim to encourage and build upon the ideas of our participants to create a program that is specific to them.

In the spirit of Valentine's Day, we would like to formally introduce our 'dream team' Paul and Jenny! ❤️

Their shared vision for increasing the availability of recreational disability services led them to the creation of our workshop. Mixing Paul's 17 years in brain injury rehabilitation and 30+ years of carpentry skills with Jenny's 20+ years in the education sector, you could say they're a match made in heaven! Ha ha!

Woodworks sees sustainability as a priority ♻️

Everything that is used in our workshop is repurposed strap materials from previous projects. Nothing is thrown out because everything has potential to a creative mind, and we are lucky we have a workshop full of creative minds!

How do you showcase your achievements? 🏆

This clever participant has been working to create a trophy and medallion shelf for his brother. Each dowel rod, which he cut and fixed himself, will be used to hang medals from.

Not only will this shelf hold achievements but it is one in itself!
