👋 Meet Emily! One of our wonderful Optical Dispenser trainees here at Lake and Valley Optical 💫

Emily has been in the optical industry for just over a year and is currently halfway through her Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing with ACOD. She loves learning all the intricate details that go into creating the perfect pair of specs for each patient 👓✨

Before joining the optical world, Emily spent two years as a preschool educator — and even lived in New Zealand for a few years! 🇳🇿

When she’s not in the practice, you’ll find her spending time with her husband of 1.5 years, walking her adorable puppy Tikki, or diving into hands-on home renovation projects 🏡🐾

We’re so lucky to have Emily as part of our Lake and Valley team — her warmth, curiosity and care for patients shines through every day 💛

🌿 Meet Nathan — our amazing Practice Manager at Lake and Valley Optical Boolaroo! 👋

Nathan has been in the optical industry for 3.5 years and completed his Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing with ACOD in 2024. He’s always had a passion for working in the health industry and loves taking on a good challenge — whether it’s a complex prescription or creating a custom lens shape to get the perfect fit 👓💪

Before entering the optical world, Nathan was training to be an electrician ⚡️ — but now he channels that same precision and spark into helping patients see their best.

Nathan enjoys building his indoor plant sanctuary 🌱 spending quality time with his family on the weekends and drowning in cups of coffee ☕️
