Dear Patients,

We are currently experiencing phone and internet technical difficulties today, Tuesday, 29 October 2024. Our clinic remains open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. For non-urgent appointments, please walk in and speak directly with our receptionist.

For any urgent matters, we recommend visiting the local emergency department. We will do our best to respond to email inquiries submitted through our online portal within the next 48 hours. If you need to cancel an appointment, please email us your name and appointment time.

Please note that we can only accept cash payments today. Thank you for your understanding.

If you’ve had chickenpox before, you can get shingles.

Shingles is a viral infection that can be really nasty; especially if you’re older or if your immune system is compromised.

If you’re aged 65 or older, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander aged 50 or older; or an immunocompromised adult with an eligible medical condition, you are eligible for the free shingles vaccine.

Men's Health Week | 12-18 June 💙
The theme of Men's Health Week 2023 is Healthy Habits - focusing on encouraging men and boys to build healthy habits by identifying small changes they can make that benefit their health and well-being.

▪️ 50% of men are insufficiently physically active
▪️ 97% do not consume the recommended serves of vegetables
▪️ 71% do not consume enough fruit
▪️ 13% of men aged 18 years and over smoke daily
▪️ 26% consume alcohol at levels that exceed the lifetime risk guidelines

We encourage all men to be proactive and talk to your GP if you don't feel well, have unusual symptoms, or just want to talk about how you're feeling. It's ok to ask for help - book an appointment with your GP today.
