‼️IMPORTANT‼️
Please remember to bring a face mask to the clinic this week. In line with Queensland Health's directive, we ask that you wear a mask when attending the clinic. We have masks at reception for those who require them. If you are unwell, please phone us to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you so much!
Kirsten, Scott, Laura and Emily

😷 Mask requirements across Queensland are coming into effect from 5pm today (Monday 29 March).

You must carry a face mask with you at all times when you leave home, unless you have a lawful reason not to.

You must wear a mask in indoor spaces, such as:
🛒 shopping centres, supermarkets, retail outlets and indoor markets
🏥 hospitals and aged care facilities
☕ hospitality venues such as restaurants and cafés (not required for patrons while seated; customer facing staff only)
⛪ churches and places of worship
📚 libraries
🏋️‍♂️ indoor recreational facilities and gyms (except if doing strenuous exercise)
🖥️ indoor workplaces (where safe to wear a mask and you can’t physically distance)
🚆 public transport, taxis and rideshare, including waiting areas and queues for this transport
✈️ airports and travelling on planes.

It is strongly recommended you wear a mask outdoors if you are unable to stay more than 1.5m distance from other people, such as busy walkways and thoroughfares.

👉 Masks do not need to be worn in some circumstances, including children under 12 years, where people have certain medical conditions, and in workplaces where it is not safe to do so.

You can remove your masks to consume food or drink.

📍Please note a number of the above locations will not be open during the Greater Brisbane lockdown over the coming days. For full details visit: https://www.qld.gov.au/health/covid19/greater-brisbane-lockdown

A big THANK YOU to all our patients who have been so understanding and compliant with our infection control procedures here in the clinic. We're so lucky to work within such a caring and supportive community. If you have questions or concerns prior to your appointment, please don't hesitate to talk to us in advance. We're all in this together! Thank you again ❤️

UPDATE: COVID-19
Following the Prime Ministers announcement on March 24, we can confirm that we are OPEN and encouraged to continue practicing. You will notice some important changes upon entering:

❗️ The 4 square metre social distancing rule applies in our waiting room.
❗️We are ringing you the day prior to your appointment to ask our mandatory, infection control questions.
❗️ We are constantly disinfecting our surfaces to ensure the cleanliness and disinfection of our environment.
❗️ We no longer have our shoes on display and have removed our drink fountain, magazines, socks and foot creams. Our stock is still able to be sold, but we want to limit what can be 'touched' in reception.
❗️ We ask that you use our hand sanitiser prior to entering, which is located on the front entry window. You are able to wash your hands with our surgical grade handwash should you choose.
❗️ We have opened the front door and waiting room windows to allow for natural ventilation.
❗️ Please respect the personal space of our lovely receptionist; we ask that you don't 'lean over' the front counter to chat.

With your co-operation and understanding, we can continue to provide a high quality health service throughout these testing times. Thank you all for your support, and we are still smiling! (although you can't see it for our face masks!!!).

Thanks again,

Kirsten, Scott and Emily
