I have heard a few comments around town which is suggesting there is some confusion about whether massage services can be provided. Remedial Massage has been deemed an essential service and is approved to be re-opened. However, other massage types such as relaxation or hot stone etc which are not specifically addressing an injury or over use muscular issue are not as yet allowed as part of the easing of restrictions surrounding Covid-19. If anyone has any doubts or questions I am more than happy to take calls to clarify the matter.

Queensland Health has reversed its decision in respect to Remedial Massage at this time with the situation concerning Covid-19. Therefore I am now able to continue seeing clients for ‘Remedial Massage’. I am currently working from home but also have limited spaces for home visits for Full Pensioner Clients only. It was announced today that Remedial Massage has been deemed a non-essential service. Therefore until further notice, I will be unable to book any treatments for clients. Hopefully these changes won’t be in place for too long and I will be able to resume seeing clients who are well. Take care everyone and thank you for your understanding. Marina

Marina’s Massage will be vacating Blush Skin & Body from the end of January. I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside Vicky and Kat and the girls from the Ipswich Salon. I will be available for massage at The Bunyip Retreat from March. Perhaps a little less frequently in order to balance family and business commitments. Thank you to everyone that has supported me over the years. It has been an absolute pleasure to assist you. A big thank you to Vicky and Kat.
