Muscle Aches and Pain Professional Remedial Massage and Body Work Hi I’m Melinda, and I have been a practicing RMT for over 11 years. At the moment I am redoing an old caravan up!

My passion is helping my clients achieve their health and fitness goals whether that be preparing for that upcoming competition or just relieving the stressors, aches, injuries and pains of everyday life activities. I believe in working closely with my clients and listening to their needs and adjusting my treatments to suit. When I first decided to train to become a massage therapist I think that all I wanted to do was make people slow down, relax and smell the roses as they say, as the world has become such a fast paced hectic existence. And while that still holds true, there is so much more to our health and wellbeing. The Human body is such an amazing and complex organism that there is not a
“one fits all’ approach to treatments. I don’t subscribe to the old philosophies “no pain no gain” putting extreme pressure on a muscle that has reacted by tensing and guarding will do more harm to the muscle than good. That being said, I am skilled in deep tissue work and work within an individual’s pain threshold to achieve that depth. I have worked with various sports teams over the years including NRL Titans, Tigers, Panthers and Newcastle Knights, plus local sporting teams. I like to treat my clients with a more holistic approach, incorporating various types of treatments and therapies. I specialise in Remedial, Therapeutic/Relaxation, Sports and Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Aroma Therapy, Hot Stone and Hot Bamboo Massage, Lomi Lomi Massage and Ear Candling with Upper Lymphatic drainage. I am also the mother of three very sports orientated young adults that have kept me busy treating various injuries from Basketball and Rugby over their playing careers. In my spare time I like to be creative and usually have one project or another on the go.
